When printing an email it prints the attachments too

I’ve had this the other day. A client phone and say that when she print an email, it prints the attachments too. What she means is that she only wants the Message Body to print and not the attachments, but when she hits print, it prints the message body as well as the attachments. Now this can be very annoying, especially if the attachment is 30 pages and you only want to print the one page message body.

So here is the solution:

In Outlook 2010.

Click on FILE -> PRINT

Click on PRINT OPTIONS

Right at the bottom of the screen there is an option “Print attached files. Attachments will print to the default printer only”

Uncheck this option and DONE…
